Privacy

This product site collects minimal anonymous usage events and, only when you join the founding waitlist, the email and attribution data described below. The downloadable Preflight Skill Pack itself is Markdown and JSON with no executable, account, network calls, cookies, or telemetry.

No cookies, no tracking vendor

This site sets no cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session recording, no fingerprinting, and no third-party analytics script of any kind. Nothing follows you off this site.

What is logged

When you load a page or click a checkout or download button, the browser sends one small JSON event to /api/event on this same domain. Each event contains:

• the event name — page view, checkout click, or report download;
• the path on this site, and which button position was clicked;
• the referring URL and any utm_* parameters in the link you arrived through — this is how outreach channels are told apart;
• a timestamp, your browser's user-agent string, and a country code from the CDN.

No IP address is stored in the event data. No name, no email, no device id, no account. Events are not joined into a per-person profile, because there is no identifier to join them on.

Where it goes

Events are written as plain text lines to the server log, and nowhere else. There is no event database, data warehouse, or export to an analytics vendor. Logs are retained by the hosting provider for a short rolling window and then rotate away on their own.

The event logger is deliberately unable to affect you: it is fire-and-forget, it is wrapped so a failure is silent, and if it breaks entirely, every button on this site still works. Blocking it with an ad blocker changes nothing about your ability to join the waitlist.

Founding waitlist

If you join the founding waitlist, Verto stores your email address, join timestamp, the consent text shown beside the form, and limited attribution fields: UTM source, medium, campaign, and referring hostname. This record is stored in a private Vercel Blob. The email is converted to a keyed digest for the private storage path; the private record still contains the email so Verto can contact you.

The lawful basis is your consent. Verto uses the address only for the founding release and essential App Store Preflight product updates. It is not sold, shared for advertising, or added to an unrelated newsletter. You can withdraw consent and request deletion at any time by emailing hello@vertostudios.com from the subscribed address.

Payments

Checkout is handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's own domain. Verto never sees or stores your card number. Stripe processes your name, email, card details and billing country under its own privacy policy, and shares with Verto only what is needed to fulfil or refund the order: your email address, the amount, and the receipt reference. Verto uses your email only to deliver the pack and updates, administer founding validation, provide support, or issue a refund — never for unrelated marketing, and it is not sold or shared.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes request metadata — including IP addresses — as part of serving and protecting the site. That processing is Vercel's, under Vercel's privacy policy, and is separate from the event logging described above.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask what is held about you, and ask for it to be deleted. For site events there is realistically nothing to return, because nothing is stored against an identifier. For a waitlist record, email from the subscribed address; for an order, include your Stripe receipt number. Verto will confirm or delete what it holds.
